The airport is located 11 km / 7 miles on the northern outskirts of Hannover. Northern Germany's expressways are fast and efficient, making other northern cities easily accessible. Bremen is about a one-hour drive away, while Hamburg is about a 1-hour, 30-minute drive from Hannover.
