Ground Transport and Car Parking
Transport options from Hannover Airport to Hannover and other nearby cities include taxis, shuttle buses, underground trains (S-Bahn) and buses. A train station is situated nearby and can be reached by S-Bahn, taxi or bus. Bus number 60 operates between the airport and the central railway station.
To find out more about bus, shuttle, train and S-Bahn routes, head to the Airport Service Centre for information. Taxis are also on hand outside of Arrivals at each terminal. Alternatively, passengers not wishing to travel by public transport can choose to hire a car and use northern Germany's fine expressways.
General Parking Facilities
Short-term, long-term and disabled parking is available at Hannover Airport. There are several multi-storey car parks onsite at the airport. A short-term car park is situated directly opposite terminals A and B. Car park P2 is for short-stay to mid-stay parking.
For long-term parking and cheaper rates, head to Parkhaus Ost, Parkhaus Nord, P3 or the perimeter parking area. There is a free shuttle bus service that links the outer car parks to the terminals. Executive parking is offered in car park P1 and must be reserved in advance.
Disabled passengers can park in car parks P1 or P2, which are located near the terminals. Passengers with disabilities can alsouse the short-term lot for free, which is located directly across from terminals A and B.
